Caddick Construction were appointed to design and build the much anticipated second phase of Birchwood Park, Warrington and appointed Safety For to provide Principal Designer Advisor services throughout the construction phase.

The work consists of the construction of a 170,000 sq. ft industrial park across 5 units (a mix of two 18,000 sq. ft warehouses, a 24,000 sq. ft warehouse and larger 50,000 and 58,000 sq. ft warehouses.

External works comprise of car parks, goods yards, associated external ancillary works, services and highway widening works to the adjacent Kelvin Street.

Works started in April 2019 and are expected to be complete by March 2020 for the end client WBC Birchwood Park, Trustee Limited as Trustee of the WBC. The design team included AEW Architects, BDP Structural Engineers and Crookes Walker as M&E Engineers.

The works come after completion of Phase One of the development in 2016 and is answer to an increasing demand for high-grade warehouse space of this size in the Warrington area.
