CITB have introduced a new initiative called the Employer Network simplifying the way levy paying employers can access funding for training support. Training can be undertaken in anything that supports construction employees and can be online or in person. The scheme has reduced time consuming applications and can result in significant savings for the employer, with 70% of course fees being paid directly by CITB. Course:
Across the accredited 3-day course, IOSH Managing Safely delivers the knowledge needed for those in positions of responsibility to identify, evaluate and control workplace risks. This includes assessing the effectiveness and performance of the health and safety systems already in place across your organisation.
The IOSH Managing Safely course was developed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). This globally chartered body provides internationally recognised qualifications that promote exceptional health and safety standards in the workplace, allowing employers to provide leading health and safety training to their staff.

Aim:
To give managers and supervisors an understanding of everyone’s safety and health responsibilities in the workplace
To enable managers and supervisors to recognise how they can influence, control and monitor risk to improve safety and health issues in the workplace
